Bike Sizing Questionaire
Stand straight and flat against a wall without shoes. Place a straight edge or level (such as a book about the width of your saddle or level). Use the widest side of the level or book that mimics your saddle width. Measure your inseam a few times to confirm and if necessary take the average value. Use the video above if you're not sure about the cycling inseam measurement process.
While kneeling on the floor, use the same method you used to measure inseam to measure your thigh length
While keeping your arm horizontal and stretched out to the side, measure from your shoulder joint to your the center of your middle finger (knuckle) : the first joint of your middle finger. *Your shoulder joint is the depression between you clavicle and your arm when the arm is raised horizontally to the floor.
If applicable. Measure from the center of the stem on the steerer tube to the center of the stem's clamp on the bars. *Or get the stamped length by the manufacturer on the side of the stem's shaft.
If applicable. Measure from the intersection of the top tube & seat tube in a horizontal line to the intersection of the top tube and the head tube.
Where applicable, If known either form the sales source or bike manufacturer.

Remote Bike Sizing Service

Our remote Bike sizing service by Veloharmony is provided for those outside of our local area, seeking to remove the guess work out of frame purchases whether a stock frame or a custom built frame from any manufacturer or builder of your choice.

Our preferred custom builder is currently Kish Fabrication, but we can do the paperwork for all US based custom builders, if you so choose.

Veloharmony’s bike sizing expertise takes the guess work out of selecting your new bike. We’ll determine your best sizing options based on your budget and riding style. As an independent custom fit studio, we invest the time discussing any manufacturer’s sizing variations and make data-based recommendations for your next bike. 

Remember this is sizing, not fitting.

We also assist you in determining the best road seat tube angle, seat tube length and top tube length for you based on your body’s measurements.
