Whether you are an experienced rider or just starting out, you will want to come and spend time here. He refurbished my wife's bike and did an excellent job. Now he is working through updating the bike to fit her because everyone is different. He takes the time to explain everything and does very high-quality work.
ELDRED! What a beautiful and amazing human he is. it has been years since i’d touched my bike and it had sat outside on my apartment patio for some time and needed some TLC. I googled bike repair shop near me, and Veloharmony, eldred’s shop was my number one pick from the reviews alone and after discovering how seamless it was for me to schedule an appointment and pickup time for my bike, I was sold. He cares and takes the utmost time and attention to make sure you feel safe and comfortable on your bike and that is it ready to support whatever adventure it is you want to go on. Being sent home with knowledge and expertise so I can know how to care for my bike was also so nice to have. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found a business and person like him to help me with something that is so foreign to me. Knowledgeable and a great teacher! My daughter did a bike repair class with Eldred, and she learned how to change a flat tire, and other great tips. Eldred was an excellent teacher, and it was very hands on. He even examined her bike and did a small tune-up. He is super knowledgeable and friendly, and I'd trust him will all bike needs!
Took in my 2017 specialized sequioa gravel bike to get a tune up and new chain. Hands down very knowledgeable and pointed out key issues that were not treated professionally by someone I previously used for my mechanics! I reached out to Eldred to help teach my 8 year old to ride his bike. With 2 lessons he's ready to go! The first lesson we worked on balance, and precision and had some homework before returning for the second lesson to work on control. Eldred even helped customize my son's bike seat so we could get a few more years out of the bike before upgrading to the next size. If you're a busy parent and have an hour to spare to get your kid riding, you've got to call this guy, he's a pro!
I brought my daughter's bike in for some much needed repair. Everything was explained so thoroughly about what needed to be done and why. 5 short days later, and I brought my daughter to pick up her bike! To her surprise, it looked like a brand new bike! Time was spent to adjust everything to fit her perfectly, and for the first time since getting the bike over a year ago, she had a HUGE smile on her face and actually ENJOYED riding it again! Took my bike in for much needed repairs and a tune up. Eldred took the time to show me what repairs were needed and discussed in detail how the different parts functioned. My bike was ready in less than 24 hours and was better than new! He took the time to adjust the seat for me and taught me how the gears worked. Riding my bike has never felt so good. I was gliding! He had me ride around to see that everything was working right and gave me tips on my posture and how to handle my bike. This was more than a bike repair- it was an experience! I met someone skilled in his trade, knowledgeable and passionate about it. The pricing was reasonable. I ride a Canyon Endurace 8.0, which I fitted myself, and looked into Veloharmony due to significant outer knee pain. After getting my bike fitted I went from having knee pain prevent me from cycling more than ~30 miles at a time, to having none. I was able to bike 40 miles right after having my bike fitted without any knee pain. Eldred spent a lot of time with me to make sure the fit was perfect and that I was happy with it. He also gave me plenty of tips on how to improve my form, advice on how to maintain the bike, etc. I was very satisfied with the service.
Where do I begin? This man was very knowledgable and educated me on a few tips on maintaining my bike. He has patience and a skill set that I am sure surpasses run of the mill bike shop hes so thorough in his work and i feel very confident in my child safely riding her bike. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had as a customer. I purchased a bike online and brought it to Eldred (owner) for assembly. He took my bike and explained in great detail what he’d be doing to it beyond putting it together, such as tune up, etc. Somehow the bike was missing a part and some wiring was damaged; Eldred ordered the part, repaired the wiring and had the bike ready in a day. His pricing was very reasonable for all the work that went into making my bike ride ready. When I went to pick up my bike, he took the time to give me a detailed demonstration on how my gears worked, he adjusted my seat on the spot, showed me how to remove my front wheel for easy storage and let me take the bike for a spin to make sure I was comfortable with it. Finally, he sent me away with a list of accessories I’d need for safe riding. I really appreciated all of his work and knowledge and friendly service.
Eldred was incredible. I bought a bike on offer up and noticed it was making some squeaking noises when I hit the breaks. I took it in and he found the problem almost instantly. He walked me through the entire process to really break down what the issue was and what he was going to do to resolve it. He also replaced the old chain and ensured my gear shifter was working in top notch shape. Throughout the whole process he was giving me pointers and instructions to ensure I kept the bike in tip top shape. It’s rare to find someone as passionate and knowledgeable about their work as Eldred showed today. I will only be using him for our families future bike repairs/tuneups and recommend everyone else do the same.
Took my bike in the box from Walmart to be assembled, very happy with my experience! The owner even took the time to show me a few biking tips and made sure that the brakes on my bike were quiet. Highly recommend their services!

We are an independent local bicycle shop, specializing in new, used and custom bicycles, parts, and accessories. We also offer full service repair on all types of bicycles at reasonable prices using new or used parts.
Having successfully performed bike fits since early 1995 to varying levels of recreational riders, racers and Ironman triathletes, it was not until 2016, that I received the inspiration for the Veloharmony Custom Fit Studio, bicycle shop and bicycle service center and its accompanying Veloharmony YouTube Channel.
The creation of Veloharmony as we know today, begins in the Summer of 2016, during a group ride with a local Houston area club called UMC. A cyclist named Paul Ilunga, joined our group on one of the Saturday rides.
I was introduced to him by Alain Didkain and the three of us hung at the rear of the group and chatted.The pace picked up and I noticed Paul was struggling to hold the pace. Alain offered to stay with him and so I rode on and caught up to the group.
After about 10 kilometers (6 miles) or so, we stopped at the Local gas station, since the actual ride start was earlier than where we joined the group on the route and the earlier starters needed to top off their fluids.
At the stop, Paul told us that he had been off the bike for a year. Intending to encourage him and being truthful, I said “if you can stay with us after taking a year off, then we should not be riding bikes”.
I think it worked and he received the comment well.
Later during the next week, I received a message from Alain that suggested that since Paul lived relatively close to me, I should contact him so we could do some rides together. I did and the rest is history.
Our first ride, Paul could barely hold a straight line while riding and bumped into me a few times. I mentioned that his fit needed to be examined.
At the time neither he, nor Alain were aware that I was adept at bike fits among other things.
Set a goal
Paul had mentioned that he observed how easily I moved through the bunch and said he wanted to ride like me.
He asked questions and I answered as best as I could, sometimes talking with him for hours. We adjusted his saddle height immediately after that first ride.
His saddle was a full 5centimeters (about 2inches) too high and I was amazed that he was able to ride the bike.
I told him this was the primary reason he was unable to keep up and it must be impossible to ride this bike. He then told me that after every ride “everything hurts”.
I let him ride with his new saddle height for about a week and then we changed his cockpit, stem was lengthened, lowered and viola he had the perfect road position for his body.

As time progressed, during one of our lengthy discussions, he mentioned that it would be great if everything I knew was someplace that he could refer to, because he was overwhelmed with the volume of information I was giving him, while answering his questions.
It was at this tine that he suggested that “with everything you know, you could help a lot of people out there”.
A week later the Veloharmony Channel on YouTube was born.
This was late October 2016. Shortly after that, the website went up to support the channel and as requests for fit both remote and locally increased, I started the Bike fit Studio out of my downstairs work area.
It has been a labor of love since then, because I love cycling and I love helping others.
